THE BBA LEVELS
Certification
Three levels, visible on every pedigree. Each one tells a breeder exactly what a dog has proven.

WHITE AND GOLD
Registered. Approved.
White — Registered. The dog is identified and microchipped, and registered with a four-generation pedigree that can be verified online through the QR code on its certificate.
Gold — Approved for breeding. The dog has been evaluated by a BBA judge against the breed standard, including structure, movement and overall soundness, and has passed a basic temperament assessment. It is approved as breeding stock. The evaluation is scored area by area and the final score is shown as a percentage on the pedigree. The breeder receives the full evaluation sheet.
BLACK
Premium. Proven in work.
Black — Premium, W mark. The highest BBA recognition. The dog is approved for breeding and has passed the BBA working test. The test is demanding: the dog must show courage and active defence of its handler or territory under real pressure, and at the same time remain stable and neutral towards strangers when there is no threat. A dog that is reactive without reason does not pass.
Premium dogs carry a W next to their name on every pedigree where they appear, including as sire, dam or ancestor. This is how the BBA tracks proven working lines: when the W runs through the generations behind a puppy, a breeder knows exactly what that line has been tested for.
Every evaluation is recorded with its date and judge, so the history behind each level stays transparent.
A certificate is only worth the evaluation behind it. That is why every BBA level is earned by the dog, never sold with it.
